In the midway of suffering

It is my first year in college and I've experienced a lot of new things for a freshman. One of these things is my first semestral break in college. The semestral break started last December and ended this January. Well, what can I say about that break?
I feel like I am completing the first part of my murderous year in college. As a gift, I gave myself relaxation for different academic loads.
I have bonding with my family and friends. We went to parks and malls, buying the things we want. During night masses, I attended and listened thoroughly about what the priest is preaching. Before Christmas eve, I helped my mother prepare food which we shared during noche buena. Meanwhile, during New Year's eve, we just watched fireworks in the dark sky. As the new year enter, I remembered how I should study harder and make things better than last year.
The remaining days of my semestral break are the days, for me, to go back to reality. I still need to finish the second half of the academic year. I prepared the things that I will be needing for the second semester like pens, notebooks, books, and other requirements needed for the enrollment.
As of now, I am starting to face a whole painful semester with courage. I am hoping that this semester will be as great as, or if not, greater than my previous semester.
