Reunited

My sembreak mainly consisted of quality time with my family. We went on a two-week adventure abroad. My uncle, who lives in Sydney with his family, invited us over to the “Land Down Under” to have a big family reunion. I really looked forward in going to Australia because it was my first time there and I love to travel.

Going around Sydney wasn’t that much of a hassle, so we were able to explore the whole city in a span of seven days. It is a beautiful city that has a chill vibe that made me feel relaxed despite the long walks. The places we were able to visit were the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Blue Mountains, and even the notorious Lindt Café where the recent hostage-taking took place. When we didn’t have anything in our itinerary, we would just go to the park and have a simple picnic.

I’m so thankful for this once in a lifetime trip because it is a huge blessing not only to me but also to my family. I had a great time with them. It was an opportunity that made us closer and we were even able to explore a new place. This sembreak, I would say, was definitely well spent and I’m looking forward to more family vacations like this.
